Stage 2 Remaps

Maximum gains for modified vehicles.

A Stage 2 remap takes things further than Stage 1 by tuning the ECU around supporting hardware modifications. If your vehicle has a high-flow intake, sports/decat exhaust, uprated intercooler or similar bolt-ons, a Stage 2 file will extract the full benefit of those parts — bigger power gains, sharper throttle response and stronger torque delivery throughout the rev range.

What hardware do I need for Stage 2?

Stage 2 typically requires at least one — and usually a combination — of: a high-flow induction kit or panel filter, a sports cat or decat downpipe, a larger front-mount intercooler, and on some platforms an uprated turbo actuator or fuel pump. We will tell you exactly what is needed for your specific vehicle before booking.

How much more power than Stage 1?

It depends on the platform, but Stage 2 generally adds another 10–20% on top of Stage 1 figures. The bigger benefit is often in how the power is delivered — turbos spool quicker, the engine breathes more freely and the car feels noticeably more eager throughout the rev range.

Is Stage 2 still safe and reliable?

Yes — when the supporting hardware is genuinely in place and the file is written properly. Every Stage 2 file we install is dyno-tested and stays within safe mechanical and thermal limits. As with all our work, your original file is backed up and the car can be returned to stock at any time.

Insurance, MOT and warranty

You should declare both the hardware modifications and the remap to your insurer. Performance-friendly insurers cover Stage 2 builds without issue. As with Stage 1, if your vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty please speak to us first.
